If you can quite believe it, we’re coming up on two years since the second Netflix Original entry for the Knives Out franchise released on Netflix, and beyond the fact we know that Daniel Craig is reprising his role as Benoit Blanc, not much is known about the sequel to Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.

While the animation market was dominated by the likes of Disney, Dreamworks, and Illumination, Netflix has done a great job over the past several years cementing its place as one of the best platforms on the internet for animated movies. Hoping for their next smash hit will be Orion and the Dark from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and I’m Thinking of Ending Things writer Charlie Kaufman.

Millie Bobby Brown is one of the most popular young actresses in the world right now. This is why it isn’t surprising that Netflix continues to lock her down for some of their biggest new projects. The feature was previously scheduled for a 2023 release. However, we have since learned that the title has been removed from the 2023 release slate.
In this new fantasy film, a young woman who thinks she is being married to a perfect prince is thrown into a pit where she discovers she’s not going to be a princess after all, but a sacrifice to appease a bloodthirsty dragon. Trying to survive long enough until someone can save her — she soon realizes that no one is coming and this “damsel” must save herself.

Landing on Netflix just in time for Valentine’s Day is Players, which is a long-awaited title given that it was initially part of Netflix’s 2023 lineup.

3. Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley

There have been many adaptations of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, however, you could argue there is currently no better director out there than Guilermo del Toro to tackle the classic tale.

Undoubtedly, the huge ensemble cast coming together for this new horror is what is propelling it up the charts. Jacob Elordi leads with Mia Goth, and Oscar Isaac are also due to star.

Following the release of Part 1 of Rebel Moon over Christmas, we don’t have long to wait until the second part drops on Netflix in April 2024. Given this sequel is just around the corner, it should be no surprise that Part 2 tops the list of most anticipated upcoming Netflix Original movies.
